Philadelphia Man Charged In Nearly A Dozen Robberies
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A suspect has been arrested in connection with numerous robberies in Philadelphia.
Officials say 49-year-old Cartel Wright, aka Kevin Jones, was first identified as the suspect in a robbery at a Rite Aid at 5010 City Line Avenue.
He was able to elude capture until being taken into police custody on January 23, 2015 by members of the US Marshalls and Philadelphia Police Department.
On Jan. 24, Wright was also charged for his involvement in 10 other robberies at two McDonald's, a CVS and various Rite Aid stores. Wright is also charged with a carjacking on Jan. 11 at 5540 Lansdowne Avenue.
