Jake Porter bought an ice scraper for his car and a big bag of salt….just in case.
“I’m expecting not to have a storm, because I don’t trust meteorologists at all,” he said. “But, if there is a storm, I don’t want to not have salt and this is the one store that is always stocked up.”
Kim from Fairmount made sure she was all stocked up.
“We picked up rock salt specifically safe for dogs, because we have a puppy and we have a lot of neighbors that do, too,” she said. “I think it’s a little bit safer. I’ve never used it before, so we’re going to give it a try.”MORE NEWS: Philadelphia Police: Man Shot In Chest, Killed In Kensington
Kim said she was unprepared for the first big storm, last year, and she wasn’t going to get caught off guard again.
