Police: Officer Injured After DUI Driver Strikes Patrol Car In West Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A police officer was injured after being struck by an alleged DUI driver overnight in West Philadelphia.
Police say a car-rear ended a police cruiser at 52nd and Market Streets around 2 a.m. Sunday.
The 45-year-old police officer was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition.
Police say the 39-year-old woman who was driving the striking vehicle was arrested for DUI and related charges.
