$4,500 Reward Offered For Information Leading To Arrest In Fatal Holmesburg Hit And Run

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Nearly a month after a hit and run that killed a woman crossing State Road, officials have announced they're offering a reward for information that leads them to the driver of the vehicle that struck her.

On Dec. 23, 2014, Theresa Pozzi was attempting to cross State Road in Holmesburg when she was struck by a vehicle heading northbound.

After hitting Pozzi, the car continued on State Road without stopping.

Pozzi was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses say the striking vehicle was an "older model, dark colored tow truck," while others said it was an older model dark colored pick-up truck. A video was recovered that showed the cab appeared to be an older looking model. There is no further information on the vehicle.

On Wednesday, the Citizens Crime Commission announced it was administering a $2,500 reward posted by AAA Mid-Atlantic, and family and friends have also posted a $2,000 reward for information leading to the driver's arrest.
