Officials: Individual Tests Positive For Hepatitis A In Mercer County

ROBBINSVILLE, NJ (CBS) – The Robbinsville Department of Health says it has been informed of a Hepatitis A case affecting a Robbinsville Township resident.

Health officials say the individual infected was interviewed and it was confirmed he or she did eat at or from Rosa's Restaurant and Catering in Hamilton Township, during the time period of the confirmed case that affected a food handler at the establishment.

Recently, two others who had eaten at or from the restaurant had confirmed Hepatitis A cases.

The Robbinsville Township Division of Health cannot say with any certainly the cases are a result of the original infection.

The resident is employed in Hamilton Township, but the business is not accessible by the general public, therefore there is an insignificant risk of exposure to the public.
