Fans Say Eagles Should Stick With Nick Foles

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- As we enter one of the most important off-seasons in recent memory for the Eagles, their most fascinating position is quarterback.

Nick Foles enters 2015 on the fourth and final year of his rookie deal, Mark Sanchez will be an unrestricted free agent, and Chip Kelly's college quarterback Marcus Mariota is the projected No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

While there are plenty of directions the Eagles could go at football's most critical position, the majority of fans want to stick with Foles.

Andrew Porter discusses the upcoming off-season for the Eagles on the Pulse Of Philly:

When asked how the Eagles should handle their quarterback situation on Thursday's Audio Roadshow Question for the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show, about 60-percent of fans said the Eagles should commit to Foles. Only a fourth of voters said the Eagles should do whatever it takes to get Mariota.

Furthermore, fans were polled on Thursday's Audio Roadshow Question for the 94WIP Morning Show, asking if Chip Kelly should mortgage the future for Mariota. Seven out of every 10 fans said no.

Before getting injured in Week 9 against the Texans, Foles completed just 59.8 percent of his passes for 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. However, in 18 starts at quarterback with the Birds, Foles is 14-4.
