Bus Fire Reported On Garden State Parkway In Atlantic County, NJ
PORT REPUBLIC, N.J., (CBS) – A bus fire has been reported on the Garden State Parkway in Atlantic County.
The incident was reported around 5 p.m. Friday on the Garden State Parkway southbound, north of Exit 48 near Port Republic.
Authorities say everyone made it off the bus safely.
The fire has been placed under control.
A relief bus was reportedly sent out to pick up the passengers.
It's unclear at this time where the bus departed from, or where it was heading to.
Chopper 3 over the scene showed traffic backed up for miles in the area.
