Giordano: Countdown To Feast Of The Seven Fishes

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - As I count down to our Sixth Annual Feast of the Seven Fishes at Vie on December 15th, the words "tweaking" and "renewal" are on my mind. Each year we know the core elements of the event are tradition, great food and plenty of it, big guests and a big contribution to Catholic Charites. However, each year we talk with listeners and our own observations to make the event better.
Making it better means not only fixing things that might go wrong, but changing elements each year to make them fresh for our listeners. We look at things like table decorations, the entertainment, the radio show I do at the beginning of the event, etc. In other words, we sweat the details and try to bring fresh eyes to the event each year.
This year, I think you'll love Colonel Allen West, former Eagle Gary Cobb, Rich Weinstein, the man who exposed the Gruber videos on Obamacare. You'll love the food and the sheer spectacle of Vie.
Also you 'll get to meet Roe, Chris Stigall, my producer Bill , and other listeners that you may have heard call in over the years. These meetings are a great joy to me.
I come away from each event with renewed hope for our country and our area. It's a lot of work for a great staff at Talk Radio 1210 but is also a tremendous amount of fun for me.
So we've tweaked, renewed and gotten ready for a great night.
