Mariah Carey took the stage during the tree-lighting ceremony at Rockerfeller Center in New York City and sounded less than stellar; that’s putting it mildly.

Performing her 1994 Christmas classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” Carey missed more than just a few notes before ending the song without a real high-note in earshot. According to TMZ, the singer was supposed to pre-record the song , but was unable to because of a phone call from her divorce attorney.

Carey, feeling bad for her lackluster performance, apologized to fans on Twitter.

Getting smacked in the head by an angel sounds like the beginning of an absurdly corny pick-up line, but for pop star Ariana Grande, it was a ridiculous truth.

While performing at the “2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show,” Grande was accidentally smacked in the face with the wings of Victoria’s Secret angel Elsa Hosk.

You’ll just have to wait for the fashion show to premiere Dec. 9 on CBS to see Grande making one of the most ridiculously funny faces of 2014.
