CAMDEN, N.J., (CBS) -- Developers got the green light to build the 76ers' new state-of-the-art facilities on the Camden riverfront.

On Monday night, the Camden City Planning Board gave unanimous approval on plans to build a new home for the 76ers.

"The site that's proposed is a practice facility and office building for the 76ers. They will be a tenant," a developer said.

Part of those plans include a 4,000-square-foot sign on one of their buildings, a 1,000-square-foot sign on another building and a helipad.

As an incentive to bring the team to Camden, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority is giving them an $82 million tax break for the complex.

Construction on their new facility is scheduled to be complete in late 2016.

Right now, the 76ers practice at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
