2nd Attempt To Remove High-Rise Letters Means Center City Road Closures

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Crews are ready to give it another shot.

Work resumes Sunday morning to remove the remaining iconic letters from the top of a Philadelphia high-rise.

Back in August, workers used a helicopter to remove the 'PNB' letters from One South Broad Street.

The operation had to be suspended because the letters were much more fragile then initially thought. Only three of the twelve letters were removed at that time.

There will be road closures in that area Sunday as crews give it another go, so it's smart to give yourself extra time if you're traveling in Center City.

The closures begin at 6 a.m. and occur on different streets between 13th and 16th Streets, JFK Boulevard and Chestnut Street.
