Man Sought In Deadly Shooting In Camden

CAMDEN, N.J., (CBS) – The Camden County Prosecutor's Office and Camden County Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in the city Monday.

Authorities say 31-year-old Eliot P. Knock is wanted in connection with the killing of 37-year-old Nelson Jackson, of Camden.

Authorities say Jackson was shot multiple times on the 800 block of Haddon Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. Monday.  He was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Knock was charged Tuesday and is being sought by a U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, according to authorities. They say he is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on Knock's whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
