Flyers Announce Shayne Gostisbehere Has Torn ACL

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The rash of injuries continue for the Flyers. On Saturday the Flyers announced the defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere has suffered a torn ACL.

The injury will require surgery which Gostisbehere will undergo on Thursday, November 13th. He will be out indefinitely.

Gostisbehere has five points this season with the Phantoms and was recalled by the Flyers to help fill the void following injuries to Braydon Coburn and Andrew MacDonald.

The 21-year old played in two games with the Flyers before he was sent back to the Phantoms on November 1st.
