Vineland Police Investigate Report Of Razor Blade Found In Candy

VINELAND, N.J., (CBS) – Police say they are investigating a report of a razor blade found in candy collected on Halloween night in Vineland, Cumberland County.

According to police, they are investigating an alleged tampering of candy that consisted of a Tootsie Roll package which contained a Tootsie Roll and razor blade.

Police say the candy was collected Friday night in the following areas: S. Spring Road and Lincoln Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue.

They are urging all parents to check their children's candy.

No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

Police in Montgomery County, Pa. are also investigating after a razor blade was found in a wrapped candy bar.
