Poll: If Both Are Healthy, Sanchez Or Foles?

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Audio Roadshow question of the day for the 94WIP Morning Show, "When both are healthy, who do you want to be the Eagles quarterback?" Cataldi asked on Monday morning. "Nick Foles. Mark Sanchez."

"Do we have the makings, I'm not gonna say an actual one, the makings of a quarterback controversy?" Cataldi asked.

"The only controversy is, if he [Sanchez] plays great and then doesn't play," Morganti replied. "If he's just OK, it's Foles' job."

"But he has the chance to win, doesn't he?" Cataldi continued.

"He's got to play great," Morganti replied. "If he has a big game against Dallas on Thanksgiving, it's going to be hard to take him out."

Eagles Hall Of Fame analyst Ray Didinger joined the 94WIP Morning Show and was asked, what if Sanchez continues to have success and win games while Foles is recovering?

"Well then you go with him [Sanchez]," Didinger answered. "I don't think there's much choice. If he comes in and he, to your term, plays great and they keep winning and the offense is clicking, then I think Chip [Kelly] would stay with him."

"If the guy comes and plays better than the guy that went out, then I think you stay with him," Didinger continued. "I don't get that whole thing. I look at yesterday's performance---I thought Sanchez played remarkably well, for a guy that hadn't seen live bullets in like two years. I thought for him to come in cold like he did and play the way he did, I thought he played really well."
