Fire In Truck Yard Was Intentionally Set, Says Bristol, Pa. Fire Marshal

By Suzanne Monaghan

BRISTOL, Pa. (CBS) -- The fire marshal in Bristol (Bucks County), Pa. says the fire that burned seven tractor-trailers this morning was arson.

Officials say, however, that at this point they are not able to discuss further details about how the blaze was set.

Crews responded to the 1500 block of Clyde Waite Drive, not far from the Pennsylvania Turnpike.  The tractor-trailers were burning in a gated lot in an industrial park.  (Earlier reports of pickup trucks also burning at that location were erroneous.)

The fires were placed under control shortly before 6am.

There were no reports of injuries.  The US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms was brought in to help with the investigation.
