Feeling Lucky? Nearly Half A Billion Dollars In Jackpot Prizes To Be Drawn This Week

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (CBS) – The Pennsylvania Lottery says they are seeing brisk sales as nearly a half a billion dollars (yes, with a b) in jackpot prizes are up for grabs on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

The Mega Millions drawing, which will be held Tuesday night, offers an annuity value of $321 million and a cash prize of $194.1 million, making it the game's eighth largest jackpot on record.

Wednesday's Powerball jacket boasts an annuity value of $178 million and a cash prize of $111.1 million.

Lottery Executive Director Sil Lutkewitte says, "We always ask players to play responsibly and pooling ticket purchases with family members, friends and coworkers is a fun way to do that."

So team up if you'd like, or buy your tickets solo, but Mega Millions tickets are only on sale until 9:59 p.m. Tuesday and tickets for the next Powerball drawing are available until 9:59 p.m. Wednesday.

Good luck!
