Sixers Seeking First Win Tonight Against Milwaukee

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The 76ers will play their second regular season game tonight as they visit the Milwaukee Bucks.

Both of these teams come in fresh off losses in their season openers. The 76ers lost in Indiana on Wednesday, 103-91. The Bucks lost on the road in overtime, in Charlotte, to open things up on Wednesday, 108-106. That one really hurt as Milwaukee blew a 24-point third quarter lead.

These two teams had the two worst records in the NBA last season. The Sixers were 19-63, Milwaukee 15-67. Milwaukee won two of their three head-to-head meetings a season ago.

This game will feature a couple of really exciting young players in Nerlens Noel of the 76ers and Milwaukee's Jabari Parker. Both made their NBA debuts on Wednesday. Noel had 6 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. Parker scored 8 points and had 4 rebounds for the Bucks.

The 76ers are still without guard Michael Carter-Williams. The reigning NBA Rookie of the Year has been cleared to return to practice next week (November 6th) as he recovers from shoulder surgery.

KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer about the match-up.
