Caught On Tape: Man Shot, Attacked With Baseball Bat In Queen Village

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police are searching for a duo wanted for an aggravated assault and shooting in Queen Village.

On October 25, around 2:40 a.m. a 36-year-old man walking on the 100 block of Carpenter Street was approached by a white male and female. They conversed for a brief period of time and then the woman struck the male victim in the upper torso with a baseball bat. The victim attempted to run away and the male fired a handgun, striking him in the left leg.

The victim fell to the ground and both suspects fled the scene and headed east on the 100 block of Carpenter Street towards Front Street.

The male suspect is described as a white man, 45-50-years-old, with a stocky build and bald head. He was wearing a blue waist length jacket.

The woman is described a white female with brown, shoulder length curly hair. She was wearing a blue waist length jacket.

Police ask anyone with information to contact South Detectives at 215-686-3013/3014.
