Thief Steals Pocketbook From 92-Year-Old Woman In Delaware

BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, Del. (CBS) -- Police are searching for the suspect who stole a pocketbook from a 92-year-old woman in Delaware.

The heartless crime happened at about 11:20 a.m. Sunday in the Branmar Plaza Shopping Center located in the 1800 block of Marsh Road in Brandywine Hundred.

According to Delaware State Police, the 92-year-old female was standing next to her car when she was approached by the male suspect. The male grabbed the purse from the victim's arm and then ran to a parked car and drove off.

The suspect is described as a male, 5'10"-6'2", weighing between 180-210 lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt, dark pants and a baseball cap.

The victim was not physically injured.
