28 Shots Fired During Domestic Dispute In Northeast Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Investigators say 28 shots were fired during a domestic dispute in Northeast Philadelphia Thursday night.

It happened at about 7:30 p.m. in the 8900 block of Alton Street in Philadelphia's Bustleton neighborhood.

According to investigators, a 26-year-old man shot his fiancé's father multiple times with an assault rifle.

The 57-year-old victim was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical condition.

Investigators say 28 shots were fired during the incident.

The suspect was arrested and an assault rifle was found at the scene, police said.

The suspect's name was not immediately released.

The shooting remains under investigation.
