Report: Penn State Drops Recruit Linked To Hazing Incident

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Penn State has decided to "move on" from recruiting Myles Hartsfield, a running back and defensive back at Sayreville War Memorial High School in New Jersey, according to Ryan Snyder of Rivals.com.

Hartsfield, the three-star Rivals recruit who was verbally committed to Penn State, has been linked to a hazing scandal at Sayreville.

Six or seven players were charged for their involvement in a sexual hazing scandal within the football program. Although names have not been released, according to NJ.com, police were seen at Hartsfield's house.

Penn State has not yet commented on the situation.
