Overturned Dump Truck Snarls Traffic On SB NJ Turnpike
MT. LAUREL, N.J. (CBS) -- An overturned dump truck snarled traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike in Burlington County Monday morning.
The crash happened shortly before 7 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the Turnpike approaching Exit 4 in Mt. Laurel.
Chopper 3 HD was over the scene where it showed a dump truck that somehow overturned on its side and landed partially on the shoulder and a grassy area.
The driver suffered minor injuries.
As a result of overturning, the dump truck lost its load of what appeared to be gravel. The majority of the gravel landed in the grassy area.
The accident remains under investigation.
