So what’s new with this music venue after a decade?
World Cafe Live owner Hal Real says after ten years and two venues, folks have gotten the concept of what his event space is all about:READ MORE: Man Critically Injured, More Than 45 Shell Casings Found In Tacony Shooting, Police Say
“You know, when we started out as this unique new concept, folks were not sure how it worked and what to make of it, and now we feel that with over 100,000 people a year coming into each location, we’ve sort of really begun to achieve this clubhouse goal of ours.”
Real says he’s actively looking to open additional World Cafe Live music venues over the next couple of years:
“The ‘where’ is something that I’m not going to be specific about because we have a number of people in the industry who are watching what we do but I will say we are looking beyond the Philadelphia region and primarily East Coast and Midwest.”
