PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Phillies’ pitcher Jonathan Papelbon was the guest picker on College Gameday, and his appearance was interesting to say the least.

The closer, a former member of the Mississsippi State Baseball team, was on hand for homecoming festivities. Papelbon always finds a way to become the center of attention and he did just that on Saturday.

Of course Papelbon picked his alma mater to defeat Auburn, but he did so in a fashion that only Papelbon could.

You thought since baseball season ended, we wouldn’t hear from Papelbon for awhile. Think again.
