Ridley Park Police Welcome Four-legged Member To The Force
RIDLEY PARK, Pa. (CBS) – Officers in Ridley Park, Delaware County are welcoming a new member of the police force – and he has four legs.
Sixteen-month-old Jagr was trained by Excel Canine in Ohio, which specializes in providing dogs for police and security organizations such as the TSA.
Jagr has been training with his handler, Officer Robert Quinlan, a 10-year veteran of the Ridley Park Police Department, in Wilmington, Delaware.
Chief Bascelli and his former K-9 partner, Hector, also trained in Wilmington 13 years ago. Hector passed away in 2011.
