Author: Democrats Use Lying As A Political Strategy
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Chris Stigall talked to author Jack Cashill on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT about his new book, You Lie, about what he says are the continuing lies of President Obama.
Cashill thinks President Obama and the political left have always had to lie to attain their power.
"All politicians lie a little bit -- some lie a lot -- but only in the Progressive front is lie used as a strategy, as a policy of state. It started back with Stalin, 'a lie told often enough becomes a truth.' I think they've gotten too used to it, and they get away with. The media have enabled Obama from the first time he emerged in 2004."
He said the President's lying would prevent him from dealing with a real threat to American security.
"When you see something serious emerge, like Ebola, which is potentially serious, who knows if it is or not, but when you absolutely depend on the truth, but in his speech to the CDC on September 16th, everything he says is lies. Everything he says is false. Sometimes, he's consciously telling lies, but other times, he's totally indifferent to the truth because he knows that the media will cover for him…There are consequences. If we ever faced a seriously genuine crisis, like a walking dead apocalypse or something, he's not the man you could have at the helm. I think there'd be a coup."
Cashill also criticized Obama for implemented the DREAM Act through executive order.
"He enacted the Dreamer law just by himself as an executive order. Executive orders are supposed to be for moving furniture in the White House, not for allowing millions of people to enter the country illegally, and then making believe that he has no responsibility for that when they start showing up at the border when the word filters down to Central America."
