Upper Darby Police Warn Area Residents About Recent Rash Of Burglaries

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (CBS) – Police in Upper Darby are alerting residents to a rash of burglaries in the area.

There have reportedly been five incidents in the Stonehurst section of the Township.

The suspect apparently uses first floor windows to enter the house in the early morning hours.

Stolen items include cell phones, hand bags and electronics.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s who is about 6-feet tall wearing dark clothes and a hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information should call police.
