Video: Keith Olbermann Crushes The Flyers For Their Handling Of The 'Ice Girls'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Keith Olbermann named the Flyers his second-worst, or "worser" person in sports yesterday, for the way the organization handled the 'Ice Girls' situation.
Olbermann quoted this Mother Jones story, calling this "about as sexist as it gets."
"How did Flyers crisis management respond to this worst crisis since one Philly fan accidentally remember that they haven't won the Stanley Cup since 1975 and since then they have been eliminated five times by the Rangers and three times by New Jersey?" Olbermann asked on his show. "The Flyers say they'll be bringing the 'Ice Girls' back, althought a team flack told a blogger than men are encouraged to audition as well, which just makes this whole thing stupider."
