LeSean McCoy Talks Rushing Woes With Beasley Reece

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- CBS3 contributor LeSean McCoy and special guest Jeremy Maclin joined Beasley Reece to discuss the offensive woes and the team's upcoming match up with the St. Louis Rams.

The Eagles take on the Rams on Sunday to try to advance to 4-1 on the season.

The Eagles will get back the services of Lane Johnson this week after he served his four game suspension. His return will give the Eagles offensive line a small sense of normalcy. When McCoy was asked to explain whether the moves can help him out of his slump, Maclin interrupted to give his take on his teammate.

"The thing that frustrates me the most is because these guys have proven...Tom Brady can go down as arguably the best quarterback of all time. Shady within the last three years has been the best running back in the league. So for people to try to say he's not the same guy or he's doing this, or he's slowing, he's 26-years-old. He's not slowing down. If anything he's probably just now in his prime. You know what I mean, so for people to say that, that's not fair," Maclin said.

McCoy then shared his thoughts on his early struggles on the field this season.

"I don't really get into it as much. I had a press conference about it and they ask different questions and I said well, simply, we're not getting it done. It's nobody's fault, you know, we're a team, we got to get it done and we're not. So for whatever it takes to get the running game going, it will happen," McCoy explained.

McCoy is averaging just 48 rushing yards per game this season.

You can see Beasley's entire interview with McCoy and Maclin Sunday at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday Kickoff on CBS 3.
