Bomb Threat Evacuates Lincoln High School In Mayfair

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A high school in Northeast Philadelphia was evacuated Friday after a threatening e-mail was reportedly sent to the school.

The incident played out at Lincoln High School on Rowland Avenue in the city’s Mayfair section.

According to officials, an e-mail was sent to the school indicating that there was a bomb inside the school.

As a precaution, the school was evacuated.

A search of the school was conducted and nothing threatening was immediately found.

The incident remains under investigation.
