Bakary Soumaré, currently a defender with the Chicago Fire, talks with KYW’s Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch  about his all-too-brief time at PPL Park.

The Malian international was brought in with much fanfare, but a long injury layoff and a coaching change saw Soumaré make only four league appearances for the team.

Although here just a short time, he talks about the bond he still shares with some of the Union players.

He also discusses the up-and-down year his current team is going through.  They are fighting for their playoff lives as they head to Philadelphia on Thursday.
