PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — So far today, the Delaware Valley has experienced a cloudy and cool morning.

Clouds will mix with limited amounts of sunshine this afternoon, and highs will reach the lower 70s, certainly cooler than we’ve seen over the last several days.

Sun will mix with clouds on Thursday, and Friday should be a mainly sunny day. That’s when the changes begin.

Late Friday night and Saturday morning a fairly strong cold front will pass through, bringing rain and breezy conditions. Once it passes through, temperatures will begin to drop. Lows on Sunday morning will struggle to escape the 40s, and highs that day will only rebound into the mid 60s.

Timing of this front at the moment looks to bring the heaviest rain through on Saturday a.m. and ending around noon. There is a good chance much of the will see some afternoon clearing as well.

Today’s Highs:

Philly – 72

Shore – 71

Poconos – 65
