Philadelphia Police Searching For Suspect In Connection To At Least 2 Robberies

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for the suspect wanted in connection with at least two commercial robberies in Elmwood and Fishtown.

In the first incident, which happened on Sept. 17th, a 19-year-old female employee was working the cash register at the BP gas station at 6600 Essington Avenue when an unknown white male wearing a brown scarf across his face walked in and pointed a handgun at her while demanding money. The man took $100 and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. The suspect in that robbery was described as a bald white male, about 6'3" and 200-220 lbs, who was wearing a blue visor with writing on it, a brown scarf over his face, a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, tan pants and black Adidas sneakers.

In the second incident on Sept. 24th, the suspect reportedly approached an employee working at the 7-Eleven at 1084 N Delaware Avenue with a shirt or bandana over the lower portion of his face and displayed a gun. After the employee handed him money, the suspect fled and was last seen heading south on Allen Street. The suspect is said to be a white male about 35 years of age with bags under his eyes and a thin build. He's about 6'0" tall and was wearing a dark gray or black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue sweatpants, black Adidas sneakers, a blue visor and an off-white shirt or bandana covering his nose and mouth.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
