PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Eagles offensive lineman Jason Peter was fined $10,000 on Friday by the NFL for protecting his quarterback Nick Foles, after Foles was blind-sided by Redskins’ lineman Chris Baker.

Baker, however, was only fined the peculiar number of $8,268 for grabbing an opponent by the face mask during the scuffle, not for his legal hit on Foles.

The NFL’s decision making ability continues to be highly questionable.
