19-Year-Old Man Shot, Killed In South Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a 19-year-old man has died after being shot in the back of the neck in South Philadelphia Wednesday night.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. at the 500 block of Watkins Street.
The man was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead.
Police initially said he was shot twice in the head.
Investigators say at least 29 shots were fired. Two homes and three unattended parked vehicles on the block were hit.
So far, no word on a suspect or motive.
An investigation is underway.
