PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A tractor-trailer overturned on the southbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension about four miles south of Quakertown.

This is the second tractor-trailer accident on a major roadway Tuesday morning.

The right lane is closed southbound on the NE Extension, the left lane is getting by. There’s a several mile backup on the Turnpike.

Officials say the truck will stay where it is until it is offloaded. They expect to be working on the truck until around 2pm. The CBSPhilly traffic center advises avoiding getting on the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike south at Quakertown.
