LeSean McCoy Gives Account Of Eagles Redskins Brawl

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- LeSean McCoy stopped by The Player's Lounge with 94WIP's Ike Reese and Anthony Gargano to discuss the Eagles 37-34 win over the Redskins. McCoy couldn't help but share his view of the Nick Foles hit that led to a brawl between the Eagles and their division rivals.

"Jason [Peters]...that's the wrong guy to make mad," McCoy said of the Eagles left tackle. Foles was laid out by Redskin Chris Baker and Peters reacted on pure instinct going after Baker and inciting a fight between both teams.

Baker and Peters were both ejected for the incident, but Peters' actions served well endearing him to the fans. He took his role of protecting Foles to its ultimate meaning.

"I've never seen [Peters] get that mad," McCoy said. "Then again, I've never seen a quarterback get hit like that."

McCoy himself did not shy away from the brawl. "You know I'm in there," McCoy said when shown a picture of the crowd of opposing players that formed after the hit.

Of course, the conversation had to shift to the outspoken former Eagle, now Redskin, DeSean Jackson. When it comes to trash talking, Jackson never seems to shy away, but he has been hearing some critics when it comes to his apparent reluctance to hop into the fight.

Thank you Emmanuel Acho for the photo evidence.

"DeSean had it kind of stirred up a little bit," McCoy joked. "The littlest guy was like 'Get Him!'," McCoy described of Jackson's role in the fray.

The Eagles took the "we're from Philadelphia, we fight," mentality to a whole new level.
