Celek, Barwin Fully Support Kelly's Practice Regimen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Cary Williams said after the Eagles 37-34 win over the Redskins on Sunday, that Chip Kelly's practice system is draining on his players. While Williams is the first Eagle to state his concern publicly, others reportedly agreed with him.

Tight end Brent Celek, however, is not one of those players. He fully supports his head coach.

"I think that the way that we're practicing is leading to us being able to be 3-0," Celek told Michael Barkann and Ike Reese Monday on the 94WIP MIke & Ike Show. "So, I'm not gonna sit here and say that it's a bad thing. We're beating teams and we're beating them in the fourth quarter which is good. And I'm all on board. Whatever Chip wants us to do in order to get us ready, I believe in him and I'm going to do it."

What about the rest of Celek's teammates?

"I think some guys feel really good," Celek said. "I mean, I felt as fresh as I felt all season this weekend, so I didn't have any problem with it. That's me personally."

Connor Barwin also joined the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show on Monday, and he also fully supports his coach and the practice regimen.

"I guess we're 3-0, so I guess it's working," Barwin said. "He never heard that [a complaint] from me. That's just how Cary is. We understand that. I think Cary maybe just got emotional. We all know Cary, we all trust Cary, and we'll be fine moving forward."
