Poll: Eagles Fans Want DeSean Jackson To Play Sunday

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- He was the best offensive weapon for the Eagles during the first six seasons of his NFL career. He's reached three Pro-Bowl's, been a first-team All-Pro WR, tallied over 6,000 yards and 30 touchdowns, won playoff games, and created one of the greatest plays in franchise history.

Now with the Washington Redskins, DeSean Jackson---who is recovering from a mild shoulder strain----will make his return to Philly on Sunday, and Eagles fans aren't scared of him one bit.

About nine out of every 10 voter on Wednesday's 94WIP Morning Show's Audio Roadshow poll question voted they want Jackson to play. On Tuesday evening, LeSean McCoy said on 94WIP that Jackson texted him and said he's going to play.

"87-percent basically do not fear DeSean Jackson, they don't think he that's good," Angelo Cataldi said on Wednesday reacting to the poll results. "This is an indictment!"

Jackson has nine catches for 81 yards and no touchdowns so far this season.

The 2-0 Eagles host Jackson and the 1-1 Redskins in a division duel Sunday at 1:00pm E.T. at Lincoln Financial Field.
