Clarifi Teams Up With PA Treasury, Holds College Finance Webinars
By Jim Donovan: As the college planning season ramps up and families consider their school options, many are wondering how they're going to pay for it all. So Clarifi College is teaming up with the Pennsylvania Treasury to hold two free webinars to help families consider all of their financial options, including taking advantage of the PA 529 College Savings Program.
The webinars will be held on Wednesday, September 17 (Noon-1pm) and Thursday, September 18 (6:30-7:30 pm)
The webinars will review the various types of financial aid, how colleges can offer different financial aid packages to the same student, student loans and their impact on the post-college lifestyle, and other factors to consider before making your final decision. They will also discuss the advantages of PA 529 plans and how to maximize them to pay for college.
Clarifi College is a nonprofit college planning service that helps families create personalized plans to pay for college. As part of the service, families meet with college planners who provide them with financial aid projections, a 4-6 year funding plan and strategies to avoid unnecessary debt—ultimately helping families save time and money.
