Del. Police Arrest 14-Year-Old For Allegedly Dealing Heroin

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – Police have arrested a 14-year-old for allegedly dealing drugs in New Castle County.

On Thursday, Sept. 11 at 8:30 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Smalleys Dam Road and the nearby community when they observed a male suspect make what appeared to be several drug transactions near Colonial Circle.

As officers approached the juvenile, he threw a plastic bag on the ground. That bag contained 25 bags of heroin, or approximately .375 grams.

The juvenile suspect, who lives in the unit block of Arnold Place, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. He was committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $10,000 cash bail.
