Buchanan, Phillies Take On Pirates Tonight

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- The Phillies will look to get back on track tonight as they continue their four-game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates at Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies have dropped two straight, including a 6-4 loss in the opener of this series last night. In last night's loss, shortstop Jimmy Rollins suffered a hamstring injury after legging out a 4th inning triple. No official word on how long he will be out as of yet. Freddy Galvis replaces him at shortstop tonight.

David Buchanan will start for the Phillies tonight. The rookie right-hander is 6-7 with a 3.95 ERA. This will be his second start against the Pirates. He lost the first back on July 5th, allowing 3 runs in 6 innings of work, losing the game, 3-2.

The Pirates will counter on the mound with veteran right-hander Edinson Volquez. He is 11-7 this season with a 3.31 ERA. In his career against the Phillies, Volquez is 4-1, with a 1.72 ERA in 5 starts.
