Report: Mathis, Barbre Out Several Weeks
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Eagles' All-Pro guard Evan Mathis will be out several weeks, according to a report. Mathis reportedly sprained his MCL, likely a grade 3 sprain, and he will get a second opinion. Mathis could be out anywhere from four to eight weeks, if the diagnosis holds up.
Eagles offensive tackle Allen Barbre, according to the report, has a high ankle sprain and will also be out several weeks.
A once strong-suit of the team, offensive line, has quickly turned into a nightmare. The Eagles will turn to Andrew Gardner and Dennis Kelly to help replace Mathis and Barbre. Both Gardner and Kelly are expected to start for the Eagles on Monday night at the Indianapolis Colts.
