PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Legendary morning news anchor Harry Donahue began his well-deserved retirement today, capping a 40+ year career at KYW Newsradio 1060.
Donahue bid farewell to his Delaware Valley listeners during the closing moments of his final daily broadcast, receiving applause a short time later from dozens of colleagues gathered in the KYW Newsradio newsroom for an informal party in his honor.

Then, he gave a brief interview to CBS-3 reporter Walt Hunter.
