Police Investigating Two Shootings, One Fatal, In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating two shootings in Philadelphia.

One shooting happened at 6th and Wolf Streets in South Philadelphia around 9:45 p.m. on Monday.

Police say at least one person was shot and taken to Jefferson University Hospital. There is no word on that person's condition and no arrests have been made.

Meanwhile, a 29-year-old male was also robbed and shot twice at Salford and Market Streets in West Philadelphia.

That victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating both shootings.
