Man Found Shot To Death In Lawncrest
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a deadly shooting in the city's Lawncrest neighborhood ovenight.
It happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday near Colgate and Rosalie Streets.
Authorities say officers were responding to a report of a man with a gun when they arrived to find a man in his mid-to-late 20s lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his chest.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
Police were looking for two black males, both wearing black hooded sweatshirts, one armed with a gun, who were spotted fleeing from the scene.
No arrests have been made.
