PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Are Philly’s hotels the best in the nation?

According to a new survey, internet reviewers seem to think so.

TravelMag.com conducted the research, which they say used travel reviews from the past year to examine hotels in 30 major U.S. destinations.

The company says it compiled all of the 3-star and 4-star hotel ratings awarded by guests on travel site Expedia.com then broke them down into positive, neutral and negative ratings.

Philadelphia’s hotels earned the highest percentage of positive reviews of any destination studied, with 71% of 3-star lodging options receiving positive reviews and 83% of 4-star hotels earning the same.

Portland, Seattle, Chicago and Charlotte rounded out the top five. Las Vegas hotels fared the worst, coming in last on the list.
