Police: More Than $5,000 Worth Of Cigarettes Stolen From Burlington Township Wawa

BURLINGTON Twp., N.J., (CBS) – Police are asking for the public's help in locating two men who they say stole more than $5,000 worth of cigarettes from a Wawa in Burlington Township.

It happened May 13th at 2:14 a.m. at the Wawa store on the 1800 block of Salem Road.

Police say while the employees were distracted, the two men jumped behind the counter and allegedly took three boxes of cigarettes that had not yet been stocked.

According to police, the boxes contained about 81 cartons of various brands totaling $5,450.48.

The first suspect is described as a man in his early 20's, medium build, wearing a black hoodie and grey shorts.

The second suspect is described as a man in his 30's, medium build, wearing glasses, a black hat, dark jacket and jeans.
