First, KYW’s Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch are joined by Chivas USA defender Eric Avila. The converted midfielder will be helping to hold down the defense as the Philadelphia Union come to town.
Chivas, like the Union, are toward the bottom of the standings and struggling for points.
Then CBS 3’s Kevin Kinkead joins in the discussion.
We try once again to diagnose the problems facing the Philadelphia Union after another heavy loss, this time at the hands of the Landon Donovan-led LA Galaxy, 4-1. Philly has given up nine goals over the last two games as the season continues to slip away.
